About this ebook
James Allen shares part of his space in this world with his readers. He believes that we are all created to define our space in such a way that it encourages others to exist and find joy in life and the space they too occupy. Trouble will always surface when we fail to realize that we are to live in a united and free space that is anti-racist and filled with innovation and creativity that promotes healing and encourages connection. A connection, that fosters systems of equity and delivers hope to a world so overwhelmed by those who ravish in "stolen spaces" those who feel they have a right to define space for others in fear of losing resources and power; power that's volatile and loosely based on a theory of racialized categories. Like all theories that should be critiqued - Critical Theories about Race are no different. To critique the societies we live in and the spaces we occupy is the road towards creating a united and free space in this world not bound by the construct of race.

UrbanGriotologist, just a spoonful of, those late-night rent parties, broken down egos, coloreds seeking greens and negroes with needles, powdered baked into rock, while niggas claiming blocks, that remind them of the past were black men owned shops. So my bio's wrapped up in the innocence of my past, Noblemen to Slaves, that 40 acres and a mule faded fast, to sharecroppers and chain gangs, so in desperation, I now ask. that my bio be not, rewritten to hide what we all know, that from the ashes of despair, a mighty nation still grows.

Soul-Black Transcendency - James Allen
I see a tree...
I SEE A TREE WITH BRANCHES so massive
that they cover walkways and push against houses
providing shade in the summer, but soon it’s leaves
will saturate the landscape with copper and orange hues
and yellow burst of sunlight, yielding to the wiles of the wind,
making rustling noises at night.
I see these branches as arms reaching for the necks
of the oppressed, whose roots dig deep in the earth
to unearth the graves of broken promises
and wayward journeys
I see a tree with roots so deep in the sullen soil of
depressed criminals and downtrodden surfs
that they’d exploit acts of kindness for hopes
of conquest...and yes
I see these branches so abrasive with it’s god-like
overtones they plague the biosphere
so that the true beauty beneath it’s interlocking branches
hide like shame laden slaves overtaken by fear
I
