Ms. D

I, Ms. D, am a God-fearing woman of the United States who was inspired by Gods word to write this book in order to help all who will take heed and receive truth as spoken through poetry. Acting on this inspiration is long overdue. I thank God for his ultimate love, Jesus, who gave me the determination to never give up. The poems here may or may not apply to you personally, but you may know someone who might be helped by them. The poems in this book may describe what you, your loved ones, friends, or foes are doing rightor wrongaccording to the Bible. Ive also provided a place for you to take notes or record your own thoughts.

    Van Cortland Park

    Yesterday I took a walk

Along the path where love had walked,

    A long, long time ago.

And in vain I went to seek

The place that love had found so sweet,

    A long, long time ago.

    But it was gone!

Nature left me just a song

For a heart so weary and low.

And I’ll sing my song as the years roll along

To the love that was long, long ago.

It was by a little brook

That I went searching for a look,

At that which used to be.

He carved letters in a tree

He said our love would always be,

As long as the old oak stood.

    But it was gone!

Nature left me just a song

    For a heart
