Acknowledgement
I am forever grateful for my association with William H. Robinson, a former English professor at North Carolina A&T State University, who perked my interest in writing poetry, Mrs. Loreno M. Marrow (now deceased) of the same institution and adviser to the university newspaper, who provided the vehicle for my expressions and the entire English faculty during my tenure. They all in some way played a role in my development.
I am also indebted to my peers who in their own unassuming way gave me support, my brother Charles is one of those. Then there’s the two Audrey’s, my wife Audrey (now deceased) and Audrey Mead Williams, my remarkable friend and wife of my life-long buddy, Qunnie. Rounding out that bunch are Wilbert, George and Doug, who read most of my works before they were sensible. Both George and Doug are now deceased.
Additionally, I must thank the members of the writing class at the Shepherd’s Center of Columbia (SC) for their encouragement.
