“Yes.”

“Then why you still looking at her, slick?” The man says with a smug grin as he sits across from you. He rubs his tongue along his top molars and makes a click. Vague uncomfortable memories, things that haven’t yet happened seep into your mind.

“Not really the time to lose focus, is it?”

“No.”

“Then tell me what is happening?”

“A chain reaction has commenced causing time to converge.”

You look around confused. There’s something you’re forgetting you told yourself to remember. Don’t say it out loud. He’s not supposed to know."
