Introduction

These days, most of us, have problems at work. The workplace used to be a place where you could come to escape your hectic home life, make a friend or two, and have people that you could call extended family. From having conversations with many of my family and friends and having had many jobs from different arenas, I can honestly say that those days of having a positive and productive work environment are truly almost obsolete.

I can remember sitting in a seminar for workplace violence and listening to the speaker giving her testimony about her experience of how a coworker treated her poorly. I was sitting in my seat expecting to hear a long list of abuse.
