Most of my poems are from life, love and mother nature and I write
About everything that happens around me and about anything on this earth that comes to my mind and about our inner feelings which most of all have , such as love so pure for our children and our loved ones and I never forget to thank our Great Creator for everything He has given us.
As these days most people forget to thank our Creator for all the blessings we have especially these days such as the high technology, The Internet, mobiles, computers and all the home appliances most of us have. This is my first book in poetry which I hope the reader of it will enjoy it as I enjoyed writing each word and sentence.

I was born in Grand Haven, Michigan. I had a happy childhood, thanks to my great parents. When I finished junior high, my family moved to Damascus, Syria. There, I finished my studies. I first worked as an English teacher in high schools. After five years, I got a job as head of public relations with the Syrian Insurance Company for sixteen years. Then in 1991, I returned to the USA and worked with Metropolitan Insurance Company as telecommunicator in Saint Louis for two years. In 2003, I returned to Damascus and worked in the private tutor program with the American Language Center (ALC) until 2012. Because of the events in the revolution, the ALC has been closed down, but I still give private lessons in English at home. I began writing my first poems in 1975 about what I feel, see, and hear and my feelings, and ties with Mother Nature; about the earth and sky; about the four seasons; about life and love, its happiness and hardships; and about marriage and broken homes we hear of and see. I’ve written about the devastating war in Syria that continues till now for four years—and nothing has been done about it. If there were more love in the world, there would not be any more wars and cruelty, starvation, and refugees. But I never thought of publishing my work until my dear son and daughter encouraged me to do so.
