Ben Bignell

Ben Bignell was born in Preston, Lancashire in July 1st 1981. After a year in school in Preston my parents moved to Australia where I spent three years, before returning to the UK and going to school on the Isle of Wight before moving to Kingston Upon Thames to complete my A Level’s at Tiffins School. I completed a Business Economics degree at The University of Nottingham before moving onto become a Project manager in global SAP implementations. This has given me the opportunity to work with and visit many countries around the world and experience many different people and cultures. I am lucky enough to do a job that I love and throughout this I have always been inspired to write. This is my first collection, which I hope you enjoy!

There is something here I can’t explain,

The aura, the vibration, the feeling,

What’s the name?

On a seat, in a train,

Overcrowded with so little air,

Down to my feet,

To a paper, to a book on the corner,

A tear…

From where it goes to,

This is all that concerns,

From the splitter spatter showers,

To the next turn,

On the track,

And so forwards it’s back,

To where we always wanted to be;

Sipping a cup of tea…
