    Personality makes up the characteristics, pattern of thought, feelings, interpersonal orientation, and behaviours that make a person unique. The word personality originates from the Latin ‘persona’, meaning ‘mask’, and according to ancient Latin theatre, a mask is rather used to illustrate a certain character than to cloak it. Despite the abundance of the theoretical studies focusing on the ‘Human personality’, it is quite a long way before reaching a full knowledge of all its dimensions. This book focuses on one aspect—the most important, maybe—LOVE.

    What’s love? It is a question requiring a good portion of research. However, one cannot get the right answer. From the beginning of the world, love was always a main issue to know about. Love is not limited to this relationship with someone else, but it extends further to objects, places, and moments.

    Talking about romantic love, one can find (depending on the situation) many meanings or ways of it:

    a.   It can be the moment when you feel yourself strong being with your love mate.

    b.   It can be the moment when your heart dances happily when your eyes see or your hand touches your love mate.

    c.   It can be (and I think it’s the best one) the moment when your love mate says how much he loves you and how important are you to him.

    All those meanings and many others are enriching the definition of romantic love and form the main concept behind it.

    A definition of romantic love suggests that it is a motivation system rather than an emotion, as said by Prof. Arthur Aron. He had proposed that romantic love is not an emotion but a motivation system designed to enable suitors to build and maintain an intimate relationship with the preferred mating partner (Aron and Aron, 1991; Aron et al., 1995).

    Psychological studies indicate that romantic love is created among a mix of emotions, motivation, and behaviours. Romantic love is initiated once an individual regards another one as unique and matchless. The lover focuses, then, on his beloved’s best traits and,
