Lisa Brodeur
Lisa Brodeur is a best-selling author of A Mother's Journey Through, Faith, Hope, and Courage. She was born and raised in Southbridge, Massachusetts, by her parents. Lisa has dedicated her life to bringing awareness to impaired driving through presentations and her heartfelt story. She currently lives in Charlton with her partner, Lenny, and together they care for her son, Kyle. Lisa wrote this book for her son Kyle, asking him many questions about his thoughts and feelings regarding his memoirs of being struck by an impaired driver. Their family's minivan was hit head-on on the evening of November 1st, 1997; this driver's wrong choice to drive intoxicated and take cocaine forever changed their lives. Lisa was disabled from the crash and lost her husband on impact. Her two daughters, only three and five, were traumatized and injured. Her son, ten years old, was breathing at two to three breaths a minute and was fighting for his life.
