LOVING GOD: Statement of faith is the first book of the LOVING GOD series. It is to introduce the one and only one true everlasting God to peoples. The Statement of Faith is to set the foundation of the faith in God through the Lord Christ. And the LOVING GOD series is about the true everlasting God, how to obey His commandments, how to implement His commandments in the midst of their lives, and how to acknowledge His grace and mercy and the eternal life is the reward. The series is to help ones life living in peace and having hope in God through the Lord Christ even though ones life may seem hopelessness. The LOVING GOD series is indeed not just for Christians but also for non-Christians to have hope in times of troubles or difficulties or disappointments.

Belinda Shek-lai Yung

Belinda Shek-lai Yung, a born-again Christian and a graduate of the Class 2012 of Bethel Seminary San Diego, is a volunteer at San Diego Rescue Mission and a former missioner of Ethiopia Medical Mission. She is the author of two books: LOVING GOD: Statement of Faith and Ethiopia Medical Mission: It helps the next mission. She has two lovely children, Pauline and Christine Chan, and has written several songs: “No One Dies in Jesus Name,” “Let Your Light Shine,” “2012 Graduates,” and “One Nation under God.” Two honors are: Chamberlain College of Nursing, Honor Society, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

The Loving God series is dedicated to those who misunderstand the everlasting God and the Lord Jesus Christ and to those who are afraid of false teaching, false doctrine, and false church. The Loving God series is dedicated to those who walk with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

I give special thanks to God through the Lord Jesus Christ for continually protecting my walk with Him and His Holy Spirit.

Preface

As I prepared Statement of Faith, I realized that understanding the importance of loving God is not just a matter of reading or studying the Word of God, the Bible, but also doing His will and obeying His commandments. It reminds me how my gracious and merciful Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, has helped me and continues to help me to walk with him faithfully.

Through the Holy Spirit God gives me a little bit of the understanding of His Word through the Lord Jesus Christ every day. But knowing the Word of God is not the same as implementing His Word, so how do I show my love for God in my life? It takes the obedient faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in my mind and as well as in my heart to make the living Word come alive; it takes more than just knowledge of the Bible, which I read just about every day and night.

Statement of Faith is the first book of the Loving God series; it is meant to help people to see God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit from a more-realistic and more-practical perspective and with a joyful and faithful heart (Philippians 4:4).
