To my other half, my best friend, my greatest supporter, my lover, my wonderful husband, Omowale, who has always encouraged me in all my endeavours. I love you. Thank you for always believing in me and encouraging me to live out my dreams.
To my children Kobi and Kristian, my blessings from above. Thank you, Kobi, for always encouraging me and making me feel invincible. Bless you, my sweet. You are my prince.
Kristian, though you were only five months old when I started this journey, you have been such a sweetie—sleeping during the first half of the night and affording me the time to write. Thank you, my darling. You are my sunshine.
To my very supportive father, who has been a great source of encouragement and inspiration. Thank you for trusting me and being resourceful by sourcing publishers for this book. May God bless your beautiful heart. I love you.
To my spiritual mother and friend, Joanne Naughton, who has read, helped me to edit, and given me specific input as to how to improve my writing. Your love, support, and input have been invaluable.
To my cell leader, friend, and big sister, Mary Ewuosho, who has always been a great source of encouragement and inspiration. It was in fact a message taught by Mary about the prayer of Jesus in John 17 that prompted me to study Jesus’ prayer in detail. Thank you for always loving me for who I am and nurturing me accordingly.
To my dear friend Abimbola Oguntunde, who has been a great source of encouragement. She also thoroughly read and edited this book. I am so grateful for all your input and help.
To my dear friend Joanne Johnson, who has been an angel sent by God to support me with some invaluable editorial insights. Thank you, my angel. God bless you for your labour of love.
To my valued friend Kay, for reading through and editing—despite having four children to take care of.
To my cell members Nadine, Mina, and Rachel, who were the first to make it known to me that I could write a book. They announced after one lesson I taught that the message should be a book. I am eternally grateful to all of you for being such an encouragement.
Thank you to Defini Photography for breathing life into an idea to produce the most magnificent book cover. Genius!
Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book to my Daddy in heaven. This book is a real testimony to how, by walking in oneness with God, anything can be made possible.
After I had my second child I confided in the Lord that I was bored. I needed something else to do while I was being a mummy. I then reminded Him of a time when I thought He was prompting me to write a book. I asked Him about it and suddenly in a rush my Daddy, our Father, gave me a series of books on oneness.
As days went by, when I was driving, cooking, or tidying the house, the Lord would talk to me about different chapters of this book, and I took notes. As the Lord gave me divine revelations and I practised these very principles, the book became more of a reality.
This book is a testimony to how, when you value God’s approval above man’s, He can do anything with you, through you, and in you so that you can be a blessing to others. I am so grateful to God, because to write a book was only a dream, but God has made it a reality. Though I compiled this book, I strongly believe this book was birthed by the power of the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory!
The Journey
This book is made up of ten chapters. I believe each chapter is made up of ten key principles that can ignite the oneness Jesus prayed about. By the power of the Holy Spirit, when these principles are applied, they will revolutionize your relationship with God.
Each chapter summarises the key points, which are bulleted. This is done in order to assist you, the reader, to apply the principles in a practical way. At the end of each chapter there is a prayer which can be used as a guide to pray. All the prayers are written in the first person to make them easier to use or adapt.
Each chapter is written independently of the others. Therefore, it is not critical that you read in chapter order. Furthermore, you can boost your study by reading according to your need or the prompting of the Holy Spirit. However, I must add that an understanding of all
