About this ebook

The Birth of
New Babes Study Guide
Im Saved, Now What?

The year of 2012 the month of April, After two years of teaching Bible class, God gave me an assignment to write this book. He spoke to me in a vision, saying, I have gifted you with the ability to talk to people and explain my Word with clarity. This book should be written as a study guide. The primary purpose is to answer questions that most new babes have, but the spirit of pride and fear is keeping from asking.

I pray that through this book, the question of whats next? has been answered and that youve received your own revelation of who God is, his plan and purpose for your life.

Thank you for your love and support.

Love,
Your sister in Christ Minister Andrea Michelle Riley

Minister Andrea Riley

A single mother of three and the oldest of five siblings, I was born to teach, although my siblings would call it being bossy (lol). Writing is a gift given by God, but I never imagined that it would be used for his glory, but God knows the plan he has for me. The year of 2012 the month of April, after two years of giving my life to Christ, I was assigned to teach Bible class. Soon afterward, God gave me an assignment to write this book. He spoke to me in a vision, saying, “I have gifted you with the ability to talk to people and explain my Word with clarity. This book should be written as a study guide. The primary purpose is to answer questions that most new babes have, but the spirit of pride and fear is keeping from asking.” I pray that through this book, the question of “what’s next?” has been answered and that you’ve received your own revelation of who God is, his plan and purpose for your life. Acknowledgments

To my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, thank you, Lord, for your blood that was shed for me on Calvary’s cross. Because of you, Jesus, I am free. My sins are forgiven and my name written in the Lamb’s book of life. Thank you for finding me worthy to share your Word.

    To My Spiritual Leaders

To Apostle Flora Lee Pryor Wilcox of You Shall Know the Truth Out Reach Ministry, Riverdale, Georgia. You gave birth to me in the natural and spiritual life through the course of time and space, and by the assignment of God, you called me to teach Sunday school. Thank you for loving me through life’s challenges, and with each question concerning those challenges, you gave me the best possible answer to them all: Jesus.

To Pastor Wilbert Grant of the Bride Church of Jesus Christ, McRae, Georgia. Under your teaching, I learned that it’s possible to have an intimate relationship with Jesus, that he’s not just the savior of the world but my personal Lord, redeemer of sins, and savior of souls.

To Bishop Terry L. Williams of Praise Faith and Deliverance, Peachtree City, Georgia, who prophesied in 2011 the call of God on my life to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ and, by 2014, performed my ordination as a licensed minister chartered in the state of Georgia.

To Senior Pastor Dr. Reginald P. Garmon Sr. of the Word of Faith Love Center, East Point, Georgia (my current church home), where I proudly serve on the following teams: prison, outreach, singles, and transportation ministry. It’s such a wonderful experience to be in a church home where the people truly live up to the name Love Center.

To Pastor Steve and Dr. Nneka Unachukwa of Dominion City, Norcross, Georgia, leaders and mentors of prayer. Under your teaching, I’ve learned how to pray the promise of God in the fourth dimension and the power of individual and group prayer. Because of your teaching, I’ve learned the power of my heavenly tongue. How beautiful it is to unlock the gift already given to us to speak with God one-on-one in the Spirit.

To Prophet Freddy G. Denis, JR Real, my social media ministry partner for Just Real Production, with 5:00 a.m. prophetic prayer line and just real talk—an open forum conference talk show. Words cannot describe the love and respect that I have for you. To learn that we cousins had both answered the call of God is a blessing to our entire generation. Much love to the Wilcox family tree. I look forward to where God is taking us. Lord, lift us up where we belong.

You have all blessed my life! One plant, one water, but God gives the increase. Know that the seeds you planted in me fell on good ground! I love you all with the love of Jesus. I speak peace and blessings over your natural and spiritual houses in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Special thanks to Office Depot and OfficeMax, formerly Impress 1956, Smyrna, Georgia.

    Introduction

    New Babes’ Study Guide:

    I’m Saved, Now What?

In Matthew 11:29, Jesus said, Take my yoke upon thee and learn of me.

Knowledge is power! That can’t be taken away once planted deep in our hearts.

The New Babes’ Study Guide is a tool that answers questions, provides training and information, and supports spiritual growth and development. It’s written confirmation to let you know the trials you will experience are normal and part of the process that all God’s children go through. Jesus said in Luke 17:1 (NIV), Things that cause you to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. Test and trouble will come, but the person who causes them will be in far more trouble with God than you.

The New Babes’ Study Guide answers the question of Now what? This guide will teach what to really expect in the Christian journey. Beginning with the three stages of spiritual development, this guide covers the growing process, with topics from your relationship with God to your relationship with man. The contents are real, simple, and easy to understand. This guide is filled with examples and testimonies, which always reference the holy Word of God.

Proverbs 22:6 tells us we have the responsibility to raise our kids in the way that they should go so when they are old, it will not depart from them. This guide is an investment for the whole family.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 (paraphrased), follow me as I follow Christ. With the rise of social networking, you can follow us too. The New Babes’ Study Guide connects you to me directly through social media. You’ll be able to post your comments on the wall of my Facebook page (Andrea Sister N’Christ), to ask questions, and share your testimony with new babes, Christian leaders, family, and friends all around the world.

Have fun and I will see you there.

Thank you for your love and support!

    My Family Tree

    This book is dedicated to

my daughters LaTorya, Jessica, and Jasmine.

To the three most important little girls of my life, yes, little; you’ll always be babies in my eyes. This year in 2015, my eldest earth angel, LaTorya, will be thirty on the thirtieth of May, and on December tenth, God doubled my joy with twins, Jessica and Jasmine, who will be twenty-five. I will turn forty-eight on October 14, 2015.

I chose this picture because I remember it like it was yesterday. God has been breaking chains for many years for my daughters. I was twenty-nine years old in this picture and, behind the smile, fighting back tears of joy. This picture represented the start of a new life for us. This picture was day 1 of God setting me free from years of mental and physical abuse.

I promised you all that day that I would never allow a man into our lives who could not love, care, and protect us. Thank you, Lord, for bringing us A. A. McGuyver. I thank God for teaching me to love myself enough to keep that promise. Everything that I’ve done and attempted to do in my life was for the benefit and happiness of you all.

Psalm 24:1 reads, The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof. I love you and used to think you belong to me. God loved you first, and you truly belong to him. God gave you all to me for a reason, to raise you to know him. Sorry it took so long. I’ve learned over the years that my job is to love you and point the way back to Jesus Christ.

My little darlings, Jesus is soon to come. We must know him for ourselves in a personal way. We will one day have to stand in judgment. I want us to all hear, Well done, my good and faithful servants. Times will get tough, and the only hope and way out will be in Jesus. If you can’t turn to him, where will you go? I pray that you have identified that still small voice and invited Jesus into your hearts.

I love you and pray that we’ll all be ready to go to heaven together! LaTorya, Jessica, and Jasmine Rena Riley, Mommy loves you.

    Author’s Testimony

After two years of teaching Bible class, God gave me an assignment to write this book. He spoke to me in a vision, saying, "I have gifted you with the ability to talk to people and explain my Word with clarity. This book should be written as a study guide. The primary purpose is to answer questions that most new babes will have, but the spirit of pride is holding them back from asking.

"Tell them who I am and why I love them so much. Be transparent, discussing real-life issues they will surely face. Teach them how to search the scriptures and read my Word for themselves.

"Use your testimony. Make the message real, simple, and easy to understand. This book is very much needed because the new babes need guidance as they grow.

Some of you have made the mistake of letting go of the new babe’s hand too soon. Joining the church and getting baptized is just the beginning. We must not walk away after they get saved but be available through the growing process. This is the time they will need you most.

He spoke a parable, asking, Does a mother give birth to a newborn and leave it on the floor? No! Mom cares for and nurtures baby as it grows. Mom is alert and watchful in case baby needs help. This builds courage and confidence. We dare not leave new babes in Christ to battle the process alone, but that is exactly what is happening!

I felt really bad thinking of all the times I was guilty of the very thing. New babes must feel supported, knowing that someone will always be there as they grow. I asked God what I should name the book, and he answered, "New Babes’ Study Guide: I’m Saved, Now What?" One year later, January 26, 2013, I was attending a women’s conference in Atlanta, Georgia, titled EOHE: Each One Help One. A prophetic word came from one of the speakers, who said, Someone is holding information that will change the lives of many. The Lord is calling for this information to be released! God has given you answers that people are waiting for, information that will help them, but if you do not release it, they can’t be helped.

Fearfully I jumped up in tears! I asked God to forgive my slothfulness because I delayed the assignment far too long. It was a year later, and I had not completed the first chapter. I thought about Jonah in the great fish and wanted no part of that because of my own procrastination. I asked God to give me the power and courage to fulfill the assignment that he had given me in 2012.

On February 4, 2013, I started writing and completed the first draft in thirty days. When God tells you to move, don’t delay! And don’t worry about the doors in front of you. When we step out on faith and walk up to the door, you’ll find that God has already opened it! We’re not waiting on him; he’s waiting on us!

It took some time—actually, a few years after the assignment was given for me—to complete this book. But I’ve learned through it all; it’s not in my time that things come to pass but in God’s time!

God meets us where we are. He comes down to our level of understanding so we won’t miss what he is telling us. He spoke in my spirit, saying, A fish is not ready when it is caught, it must first be processed and prepared.

This book is the result of my obedience to God.

Welcome and enjoy New Babes’ Study Guide: I’m Saved, Now What?

God bless you and thank you for your support.

    Repentance Prayer

Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner, asking for forgiveness, realizing there’s a better way to live my life, but I can’t do it without you.

Lord God, I know you gave me the freedom to choose, and today I choose you.
