    In the beginning was…

    THE WORD.

    BEDTIME

    I can’t close my eyes

    This nightmare it keeps me awake

    Sometimes it rains

    Sometimes there are rays

    From the sun

    But every time

    I’m too close

    To the end

    On the edge of the cliff

    At the top of the mountain

    So now I lay me down to sleep

    If I close my eyes

    I will die

    Just before I wake

    No soul

    No maker

    To keep

    BRING ON THE MAGIC

    Magic is what happens

    When there is no past or future

    For now we can pretend

    When I walk out

    She doesn’t walk in

    We can act like he wasn’t here last night

    We can put on a show

    And leave on the lights

    Magic is what you get

    When you’re too afraid to ask

    We don’t owe each other anything

    Because we know it won’t last

    If magic is all you want

    Then magic you shall have

    Ta da!
