I have choosen to write this book because since I was in Gr.2 I loved reading and my teacher would tell the class to write stories. It was really easy for me to write stories because I get ideas from the books I read. Now I am in Gr.3 and have learned to play recorder. I can also play guitar and piano. My dream is to be a musician and to get all the instruments in the world. I live in Brampton Ontario where all the new houses are being constructed. I have two siblings. My brother is in Gr.2 and my sister is 7months. I love to ride my bike and I love playing outside. My favorite subject in school is Language and Art.

Tuesday

School just started, and the first day of school is the worst. It seems like you have to wear the prettiest clothes you can find to make an good expression. I didn’t really have good clothes to wear. Today in music class, the music teacher, Mrs. Javiory, told the class to bring their recorders next week so we all can learn how to play amazing grace and jingle bells. After music, Rihanna, my friend, yelled my name, Shannon, guess what, we are auditioning for the school talent show!

what are we going to do?! I asked in a concerned voice. you should have known by now, silly! We are dancing to burning lights by Chelsea loksing, we will practice tomorrow, she said happily. whatever I said to her, very annoyed.

Wednesday

Today me and Rihanna practiced our dance. Me and Rihanna had a geometry test and also we had computer lab today. On the geometry test, it asked us a lot of questions about shapes, and other geometry questions. I got a C- on the test. In computer lab we learned how to make animations and comics. After school, I went to Rihanna’s house to study for the social studies test. When I got home, Haden, my sixteen years old brother, was smirking when I was heading to my room.

I soon figured out why he was smirking when I entered the room. He was smirking because he had messed up my room. I was having a slumber party on Friday and he just had to mess up my room two days before the party! I planned to get him in trouble. Someway, somehow!
