Preface
Having found my own inner peace with the insights described, I feel that what I have learned in my life could be a valuable resource for others.
Our actions are generally related to gaining good health, pleasure, happiness, comfort, material wealth, longevity, a peaceful life and so on. Irrespective of our cultural background, this is what we all want. One day, everything in life might appear to work in our favour and we may think that we do not need any guidance. On another day, we may face inevitable dangers, get frustrated and discover that the entire technological advancement is not really helping us deal with life. In the process of accomplishing what we want, we get stressed. If we understand ‘how life works’, then there is a possibility of dealing with life events without feeling stressed. For this reason, some chapters in this book reflect on how life works.
Motivation to achieve more progress makes us ignorant about the inherent stress that comes with pushing ourselves beyond what is possible. It would be possible to achieve better progress if we examine both stress and progress simultaneously.
The presented insights could be experimental tools to verify whether these insights could be useful in your life situations. In essence, the purpose of these insights is to offer practical ways of progressing in life without stress.
Happy reading

1. How Life Works
It is our approach to life that causes stress; we can change it because we are the creators of our psychological drama.
We want happiness now and ever after. We want continuous profits, pleasure, peace, happiness, health and love. This is what we want. What we want is a fairy tale. In reality, life does not give us everything pleasurable in a continuous fashion, even for the richest man in the world. When we understand this fact, we will not be easily disappointed or stressed because our expectation about life will be neither positive nor negative – but just realistic.
I think that life progresses like a wave on the sea surface. The wave shows momentary movements of ups and downs (crests and troughs) during its progression towards the coast. Similarly we also witness both happy and challenging moments during our progression through life. Understanding this reality of life is the basis of maturity. Such understanding unconsciously alters what we expect from life and causes less psychological damage if the events in life do not work in our favour.
In life, we face both happy and challenging events irrespective of our financial, academic and religious backgrounds. Individual life situations may differ based on our individual circumstances.
Happy events may be finding a partner of your choice, peace of mind, job achievement, loving relationships, having a new baby, health, winning a law suit,
