ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to thank my dear friend Avery Clayton,
now deceased he always encouraged me. My niece K.C. Bernstine
she was the wind beneath my wings. And to my other niece Toni Powell,
because I know you’re there for me.
I never gave much
I’m not sure, if I knew how.
It’s been a long and lonely flight
to penetrate these clouds.
Learning to let go,
Beginning to feel brand new
Ahead . . . I see the sun shinning through.
Intentions
My intentions
was never to hurt you,
entangle you in my vine
lead you astray
prey upon your emotions
in any way.
My heart was sincere,
and I didn’t Understand,
how entangled the web,
that bound this man.
You were near as a rose-
I touched you, and you,
touched me back.
Yet like a blind man,
I could not see,
love had no chance
of being free.
My struggle is alone
inside of me.
Surely love was our protector
I could not keep you,
lest you shared my hell.
So I pushed you away…
Confusing, it may have been.
Wait for me…
"Love sometimes offers a bitter cup, but her rewards
are much sweeter."
My Adulteress
W here are you going… ?
I have asked, many nights
of your departure,
and your answers,
I have interrupted
like words hidden
among the
