    Hypnosis - Zeus Milton

    INTRODUCTION:

Are you tired of always trying to quit smoking only to return to the habit after a couple of days?

Do you find it hard to overcome your shyness despite all your neat achievements in life?

Do you find yourself seemingly powerless to stop binge eating when stressed, which seems to be almost every day?

Are you tired of failing in life?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, I don’t blame you.  When sheer willpower doesn’t seem to be enough to break bad habits or self-defeating behaviors, it’s easy to throw in the towel.  After all, if you can’t hack it, what’s the point?

But have you ever considered there maybe something that’s beyond the reach of mere willpower to change?  What if there’s a part of yourself that can be accessed to bring about your desired lasting life changes – will you give it a try?

In this book, discover that part of yourself that holds the key to lasting life changes as well as the power to access them for your benefit, which is hypnosis.  In this book, you’ll learn what it is, the different types and techniques, how your mind works in terms of breaking bad habits, how to hypnotize others and lastly, how to use hypnosis on yourself to break free from personal bondages.

If you’re ready to try something new and experience your breakthroughs, turn the page and let’s go.

    CHAPTER 1:  HYPNOSIS 101

What do you think hypnosis is? There are many different ways hypnosis can be defined, but the American Psychological Association pictures hypnosis as an interaction where is a participant react or respond to suggestions made by another person, also known as the hypnotist.  Although hypnosis became popular due to some well-known acts in which others were prompted or volunteered to perform ridiculous or unusual actions, it has also been scientifically established to give therapeutic and medical benefits to patients, in particular pain and anxiety reduction. Some have even suggested that the hypnotic process can lead to reduced symptoms of mental illnesses like dementia.

    HOW IT WORKS

Whenever you hear the word hypnosis, what do you think of? Chances are, the word itself may bring up pictures of an intimidating on-stage villain who tries to hypnotize a person with a pocket watch swinging back and forth. But the truth is, real hypnosis has little to do with such stereotypes. Hypnotists don't really hypnotize people but they serve as a kind of tutor or coach that merely facilitates a person or a volunteer's transition to a hypnotic state, according to John Kihlstrom.  People usually think of hypnosis as being in a seemingly asleep, trance-like state, it can be better described as one where in a person is highly focused on something, is highly open to suggestions and vivid fantasies.

    EFFECTS

Hypnotic experiences can dramatically differ between person to person.
