By Lynn Human

About this ebook
Do you wish you could find more joy in your life?
Do you find yourself running out of time at the end of your gift called a twenty-four hour day and discover you left God out of it?
Is it difficult to like, much less love someone who has hurt you?
In the midst of the chaos that seems to be shoved into the day, God wants to take you away with Him, only for a little while. In the middle of the night, He woke author Lynn Human, saying, Arise my love, Arise my love, you are so precious to Me. She was overwhelmed with emotion. Song of Solomon 2:10 states, My beloved spake and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. Come Away is the most refreshing, rewarding, and intimate time Human has ever spent with her belovedher Lord.
John has written the Epistles of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John (1 John 1:4) that your joy may be full. He has shown her that love is not an option or an emotion; it is a commandment. As Human has studied and the Lord has taken her through the same forty-day journey, her peace and joy levels have risen. She has learned more about who He is, and their relationship is closer than ever. He wants to take you on the same journey. He loves you.
Come Away takes only a short period of time each day, and God will more than redeem the time you spend with Him. Will you be daring and take the journey?

FOREWORD
black.jpgThat which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the WORD OF LIFE
1 John 1:1
It all began in the WORD, God’s word is forever settled and we can stand upon the word of God. In our journey throughout these pages Lynn Human allows the Spirit of God to speak expressly through her writing, we experience spiritual awakening and engage in spiritual newness as we come away with CHRIST.
This 40 day journey to rejuvenation in Christ begins in the first epistle of John. There is such power in this passage of scripture that we must not hurry past what we have heard, seen or even handled in our lives; but take this deep look into the depth of God’s word. Let this book bring revelation that will ultimately bring a closer relationship with God the Father, The Son of God—Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit that endues us with power in our daily walk. There is also great significance to the 40 days, all through God’s word in many areas in both the Old and New Testament the number 40 has such symbolism spiritually. It was Jesus who after His temptation in the wilderness, fasting 40 days was victorious over the oppressing force of satan speaking in authority, it is written
. Let this book bring you out of whatever wilderness you may be going through, which for some is just a state of existence, to bringing your being in alignment with what John has written here. Let us truly Come Away
with Jesus into a new horizon in our relationship with Christ. How can we claim to be children of God and not walk in the Godly heritage we are so blessed to have. Claim your heritage.
I am reflecting back when Lynn gave me a copy of this book to read. I treasure it, that copy has many hand written notes and reflections. I could even sense the first time I read it that God was doing something that would minister to not only me but countless other souls. I rejoiced with my sister in Christ as she had birthed this labor of love. I saw many times during her season of writing this book when the enemy would have loved to shut her down, but praise be unto God, even the author had a journey and a process to faithfully trod. It is out of complete obedience to our Master that we see the glory of God. Out of Lynn’s obedience to God, we will receive fresh revelation of what God wants to say to each of us in the contents of these pages.
Lynn is a powerfully anointed vessel of God. She is a mighty Woman of God gifted in many areas of ministry: her teaching, her singing, her musical talent as a pianist and now also as an author. Having known this family many years I can say they shine as a light in a dark world. If you know anything about this family and the author you would have to agree they love the Lord and they love people. They are faithful to God and His church. They have such a desire to be workers in the Kingdom of God. Their devotion and faithfulness are very strong, and the humble spirit in which the family serves is an inspiration. I rejoice at the publication of this great writing, in which blood, sweat, and tears have been poured into.
It is my prayer that all who read this will soak these divinely inspired words into their hearts, minds, and souls to encounter a genuine closeness that only happens when one seeks to draw closer.
One of the final passages in this book challenges us to be IN HIM that is true
. May the pages of this inspire us to walk in newness. The closer we get to Him, the more our relationship will blossom. Enjoy your Get-Away
from the cares of life, the burdens, the hectic moments, the stressful anxiety of our lives to a place of peace, a place of rest, a place of restoration that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Lynn shared at the beginning of this book it started out as a prayer. It is my prayer for the favor and blessings of God to rest upon the author of this book and upon all of us that share the message God has given in these pages.

INTRODUCTION
black.jpgAbout a year ago I asked Father what I could do to help my children draw closer to Him. I heard Him whisper Come away.
My dearest friend had a birthday about that time and as I asked Him what she would like for her birthday I heard Him whisper Come away
. I understood at that point exactly what He meant. Song of Solomon 2:10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
We live life so hard and fast. There are many demands placed on our life and pressure from all sides; responsibility at home, responsibility to family, responsibility to friends, responsibility at work, yes and even pressure and responsibility at church. Sometimes it comes so fast and hard it feels like you can’t even take a breath. Yet the Lord in His wisdom whispers come away
. So for about a year when I am in the heat of fire I find myself standing looking to heaven and saying, Lord, come away!
Now I’m not asking to go home. I’m declaring it’s time to spend time with the One who loves me most, the One who can comfort and energize me. It’s time to come away
with God.
For those who do not know me, I want to explain to you so that you understand when I say, I can’t breath.
I have a full time job, two children at home ages 8 and 12, responsibility at church, grown children, grandchildren, Mom and Dad, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, and of course a wonderful husband. I understand busy. Sometimes I think I could write a book! This Bible study has been an amazing Come Away
with my Father.
Throughout the past year He has woken me up between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 am and I have found myself lost in His presence. There was one night that stands out in my mind. That night around 8:30 pm I heard Him say, It’s time for bed.
I asked Him, Why?
His reply was, I’m going to wake you up at 3:00 in the morning so we can work on your study.
I went straight to bed. As sure as the sun rises in the morning, I rolled over, opened my eyes and looked at the clock—it was exactly 3:00 am. I got out of bed and headed for my office for my daily come away
. I laughed at myself on the way to work that morning thinking back on the conversation the night before. I sounded just like my children do when I ask them to do something and they say or whine, Why?
Sorry Lord.
Father had laid out a plan for this study of 1
I know that this
