Reflections of Life: Changes of the Heart
By Ronald Black
()
About this ebook
Poetry is something that we all share, each time that we think a thought. We think in poetry, only some of us are not able to put it in words but thoughts of poetry live in our hearts. We are filled with emotions and that is what poetry is. You need to just open your heart to the words written for they are the words coming from a heart just like you. From our pain and our sacrifices to our joy and happiness, when you read this we will be able to see that we are all the same seeking love and a dream that we can claim.

Dedicated To The Ones That We Love
I would like to take this time to dedicate this book
To my wife, Shirley J. Black and my son Ronald J. Black Jr.
And also to my family and friends who encouraged me to seek
My dreams. Life is an ever-changing picture and so we continue
To change with the times, but there is one thing that will never change
That is the love in our hearts that we feel for each other.
A Beam Of Light And A Ray Of Hope
Can you see the beam of light?
As it pierces the darkest night
As it brings light to a place
Like the Sun shining in space
A ray of hope
That helps us to cope
A ray of light
To push back the night
To brighten our hearts
Before it is torn into parts
Keeping our minds together
Feeling light as a feather
Casting out the fear
That can cause us a tear
Bringing us the love
That is known above
Bringing us a peace
That will never cease
Bringing us a joy
That is meant for every girl and boy
A Child Of Love
There was a child looking up at me
With a smile as cute as it could be
There were no words that the child did say
For the child just continued to look my way
Was it the look on my face?
That the child loved to trace
Was it the smile on my face?
The child longed to embrace
The child was without fear
For the child moved near
The child reached out a hand
I thought the gesture grand
For the child wanted to feel a touch
Of someone they did not know much
The child was able to see
Inside the very heart of me
A child can brighten your life
Help you make it through any sacrifice
For a child is a gift of love
That is sent from the heavens above
A Child Was Born
There was a child I saw today
She had her head turned my way
Maybe there was something she wanted to say
There was
