About this ebook

A black girls tears are poems that take you on my journey of heartbreak, hope, family, and love. When you first see the title Im sure you assume that this book is full of sad poems; but I've learned that tears are a form of strength in many ways. If the sun shined all the time nothing could grow; things would burn up and there would be no harvest. Tears are like the rain; they help to cleanse and come in many forms. They can derive from joy, pain, confusion, frustration, happiness and LIFE. This is a collection of my thoughts, my heart, my faith, and my voice. I hope when you read this you are able to connect to some of the things I have gone through. What I hope more than anything; is that the message Im trying to convey reaches you, and that message is love. At the end of the day love is all that matters and I will always believe in the power of true love. I feel I was created to share these words, and I've been waiting my entire life for this. The tears that this black girl has cried have brought me to this moment; I hope you enjoy.
