About this ebook

Many people feel a loss of control when they are offended and believe that unforgiveness will allow them to regain power or control. However, it is just the opposite, when you do not forgive it gives the person who caused you pain power over you. There are others who do not realize they need to forgive. Many have moved on and forgiven with their mouth but not with their heart, and many have hidden the offense inside and havenot dealt with it because it was so painful.

Our ability to forgive will be put to the test many times. The author shares some of her own testing times in this book and the path she had to take to forgive and be free. This book will challengeyou torealize where you are and reveal how you too can stop giving your pain power and forgive. It will help you to stand victoriously when offenses come and be free.

Peggy Key

Peggy Key is a devoted wife and mother and an ordained Elder (minister).  She is a graduate of Dillard University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.  She has more than 25 years of diversified professional and managerial experience.    Since being born again in 1986 and later filled with the Holy Ghost, she has willingly served wherever needed in the local church and the Body of Christ.  She is committed to spreading the Gospel wherever she goes.   Shortly after being ordained in ministry, she co-founded a prayer and bible study group at work in Metairie, LA in 1996, an outreach that allowed people to come together at the workplace and experience the love of God, His presence and His power, and learn how to live victoriously through the Word of God.    In 2001, she was led to also establish Peggy Key Ministries (PKM) and expand the outreach to the local communities.  PKM has hosted women summits and women retreats, published youth and adult newsletters, hosted a Youth Rally and participated in many other outreach services.   Peggy continues to serve in the local church and also ministers at conferences, retreats and in churches with her husband Elder John Key Sr...  She ministers under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and flows in the gifts of the Spirit as she is led.   She has experienced firsthand both struggles and triumphs in living for God.  She knows that spending time daily with God is essential.  She understands that applying the Word of God daily to our lives is vital to living victoriously.   She gives all glory and honor to God for choosing her to continue to spread the Gospel through this book.  She is grateful for the hearts that have been touched, challenged, encouraged and changed.

    About the Author

    Special Thanks

Special thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who chose me and equipped me to write this book. Your unfailing love has strengthened and sustained me throughout my life. Truly it is of your mercies that I have not been consumed, thank you that your compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness! (Lamentations 3:22 -23).

You kept me in the midst of it all, you didn’t let me quit even though I started and stopped many times. Thank you for touching the hearts of the intercessors; I felt the strength of the prayers of the righteous many times and received a fresh wind to keep going, to overcome offenses myself and to complete this book.

Thank you for letting the Word become real to me and sustain me. Some of the scriptures that have helped me so much have been Isaiah 43:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. You assured me that you would help me and strengthen me and hold me up. You did it over and over again. You didn’t let me fall or go under and I am very grateful.

Isaiah 43:2: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Thank you, thank you, you were there all the time! You carried me through and brought me out.

Psalm 37: 1-9: Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment
