About this ebook

"My Heart's Cries" is a collection of divinely inspired poems and narratives that will speak to your heart and move you to step beyond the pain of yesterday and leap forward into God's Promise of abundant life and healing. There are many of us who are living lives of great prominence and significance, seemingly with the world at our fingertips. We are established, and distinguished people, but yet we are hurting and bleeding, still carrying around hurts, pains, scars, and bruises from yester-year, crying out for help on the inside. Underneath all the smiles, great accomplishments, nice paychecks, and great wealth, there lies emotional and spiritual famine. At some point, we must come to terms with the fact that it's time for a reality check. We must be mature enough to embrace change and move forward with a purpose. My Heart's Cries will challenge you to change and in it you will find that the Love of God is the answer to everyone of our Heart's Cries!

    From My Heart

Throughout my life, I have found that journaling and writing are powerful means of expression and release. Personally, writing has proven to be one of the most effective gifts that the Lord Jesus Christ has granted to me, one in which I can see, hear, and feel His heart and receive His Healing Touch. And so it is to Him that I dedicate this work. I am grateful for all the tears, cuts, bruises, and scars that were necessary for this book to be birthed. It is because of the Blood of Calvary that I am alive and breathing. For the many nights that He wiped tears from my eyes, I thank Him and owe Him all that I am and ever desire to be. Most importantly, for the free gift of salvation, I am eternally grateful.

To my Boaz – Robert Allan Page – Many of these poems have been inspired because of the healing that I needed before I met you and the healing that I received after the Lord united us in marriage. Blessed is the Love we share, and He is the Love that brought us together and will keep us until death parts us. I thank you for cheering me on. Even when you’re silent, I hear the cheers. I love you dearly.

To my quiver of arrows – my three children, Moses, Monejha, and Moselle - You have been in my corner from day one, always pushing me and saying, Mommy, you can do it!, with every hug, with every kiss, and with every word of encouragement you all have spoken into my life. You are very rare jewels and I cannot begin to tell you how much I love you. Thank you.

Mom and Dad, you are the most unique people I know. I think what blesses me the most is having parents who taught me the Way and then for you to see the working of His Way in my life, is nothing short of miraculous! For all the nuggets of wisdom and knowledge you have given me, I thank you. I appreciate all the sacrifices you made for me to have and be the best. For listening to me belly-ache and complain about life’s rough seas, I thank you. Mommy, for always being ready to ‘put your dukes up’ for me, I love you. And Daddy, for ‘loving the ground I walk on’, I love you.

To Pastor Kim R Brewer, upcoming Apostle of Healing of the Heart Worship Center in the Bronx, NY & Hope Fellowship Christian Center, White Plains, NY, also known as the Queen Author- What a royal privilege it is for me to be able to do this. (Lord, pinch me and wake me up!!). I never dreamed that I could actually carry out and birth what God had been showing me, not just with writing and getting this work published, but with birthing out all that God has assigned me to do. I am grateful for the awesome ability of God to put people in your life to say Yes, you can do it. Press in and just do it. Don’t make excuses, do it, realizing that the power comes from God. He continuously uses your life, ministry, example, and encouragement to help me get into birthing position and push. You are genuine and I thank God for you. I love you and God bless you.

To Bishop Frank Garris and First Lady Ruth Garris –

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5, 6

I thank the Lord for true people of God who give tirelessly and selflessly to raising up sons and daughters in the faith, thereby strengthening and furthering the Kingdom Cause of Christ in the earth. In these last days, so much of our
