The Most Important Questionnaire You Will Ever Take in Your Life

This Book was typed by me but written by The Holy Spirit. There are really only three chapters contained The History My Story and The Questionnaire. The best way to gain a full understanding of the content is to just read Chapter 1. It may feel like too much preaching for your taste, but it is only a set of instructions given to me by The Holy Spirit as how to gain the most from the text. Many people may consider just bouncing to the Questionnaire itself and answer the questions found there, but that is not how The Holy Spirit delivered the instructions to me, so I pass them on to you.

The second chapter covers the History of the time when the Church needed some help, and about a man that entered the Church and asked a few questions to bring the Church back on track. Little did he know that his questions would set about changing the world of understanding The Lord and His wishes from that moment on. We still follow most of the doctrines he encouraged here in this country today.

The third Chapter is My Story. Of how Jesus showed Himself to me and answered all of my questions, and believe me I had many. This text, this Questionnaire has changed my life forever and helped me transition from only having Faith in God to Trusting God as well and all that that entails.

The fourth Chapter is the Questionnaire itself. It maybe to some very difficult to finish but your answers will have to be nothing but what you believe in your heart to be true the day you take it. It will be a record of your beliefs in front of Jesus Himself and any falsehood will immediately be known to Him. I believe that as you pass through this book you will see how Trusting The Lord is much more important than just having Faith. Faith brings you to The Lord and without it I believe you will never feel The Holy Spirit in your heart and soul. But Trust gives you a way to answer the questions you still have. And if you have the courage and conviction to make that step you will have a new understanding of how The Lord God Almightys plan for you works in your life and what you are expected to do to accomplish that plan. It is a big step, but the Questionnaire I believe will help you find answers to many questions you have of your own as it did for me, and all I have been asked to do is to share the enclosed with as many people as I can.

I take no credit for being the author of this text, for it was typed by me but written by The Holy Spirit. I was born and raised in England, a shy introvert who was determined to stay away from the fear that my father brought into the house. My mother protected me and my younger brother from two things, his violence and the emotional stress and strain the he spread inside the home, though he succeeded in always being kind and generous to his colleagues or indeed anyone else outside the home. Just turning sixteen I was asked to read The Bible by my first real girl friend, as a condition of going out with her. I did, and though I was mostly abhorrent of religion since my father would see nothing wrong in flinging The Bible at my mother telling her to “read this book,” I started to read it anyway…   In just a few short weeks I had lost all my friends as the only thing I could talk about were two questions that haunted me, and would continue to dominate the next nine months of my life until the answer was given to me directly by Jesus Christ Himself. Overnight I suddenly became a confident, outspoken teenager who had The Lord in his heart and His message in his soul. Nearly forty years later The Holy Spirit came to visit while I was writing my second novel and told me to stop what I was doing and to complete the enclosed text. I was told exactly what the Title should be, the chapters and the layout, including all the questions, and to share this story with as many people as I could. So here it is for you to enjoy, to digest and to answer the questions given to me. I have been humbled in the presence of Our Lord and honored that I have been given a mission to talk about TRUST, not Faith, but trust. And I believe that by the time you finished this text you will understand why having Faith is a step to help you find Jesus, but the next step up is Trust, and the more Trust you put in the Lord, the less Faith you will need in the future.

Be Prepared

Jesus Christ came and visited with me – I was not prepared, and I have never been the same since…

It may sound somewhat pompous to you for me to imply that this Title was my idea. It wasn’t. I will admit that the Title sounds overstated, it is not, as this was given to me by The Holy Spirit. I doubt you will have ever taken a Questionnaire like this before in your life. When I took it, I hadn’t, but it changed my life forever!

This text will take about two hours to complete, depending upon how quickly you read and digest its contents.

I was raised and educated in England, so my use of grammar and sentence structure may be different to what you are used to, and I accept that I tend to overuse placing Capital Letters on certain words when I wish to emphasize authority. I do hope you will understand why as you read this text.

If you plan to search through this book, find the Questionnaire and take it without reading the precursors, then don’t bother starting at all. There is a tale to be told and a solution to be found, and I believe that, though the contents may raise more questions for you than the answers you seek, the solution you do find will be as helpful in changing or upgrading your existing view of your life, as it did for me.

This story is an accurate and totally honest account of how I ended up taking this test of Faith, Trust and Understanding, that in your case can only be answered from your heart and soul, not from any other source. Only you know if the answers you give are honest, as only you know what your real honest truth is now!

I ask only two things: As I mentioned, only commit to the Questionnaire if you are prepared to commit to reading the entire contents from beginning to end, and, only answer with your answers, NOT with what you have been told to believe, or, are official answers you may have heard from any member of this group. These questions are asking for your true answers only, as though you are starting from scratch with no memorization or instructions on the subject, just your beliefs. Perhaps even rethink the answers you would have given just two weeks ago or the ones you accepted when you were fourteen, twenty-two, or indeed thirty-five years old. Put all those standard, ready-made answers, the answers you are comfortable with, the type that you would give instinctively if asked individually or out-of-the-blue; put all those answers away. Search your heart and soul and give only those answers that are truly yours today, now, this minute. Give the answers as only your wisdom and belief is as of today, not what you accepted as your truth ten or twenty years ago.

Permit me to give you an example of how the answers you give may be different from those you would have given earlier:

"Do you now enjoy your own company when you are alone, as much today as you did five years ago? Most participants could answer, confidently, and in many cases, Yes. But, for example in the last year or two, many of us have experienced life-changing events due to the downturn in this countries’ economic climate, which has brought on loss of jobs, loss of income, loss of home and as a result, shame, doubt, financial ruin and perhaps even a break up of the family. This answer may now have changed to NO."

Right now you may be in a great deal of despair. You are perhaps losing much of the control you were used to in your life. Making your way through a day may not be an easy task any more. There are serious problems to be solved, situations to be resolved, perhaps even personal strife that is consuming you. All those answers are to be found between these covers if you look for them.

So, though your replies generally throughout your life may have been easy, the answers you give now may be different and difficult, because of the despair, the anguish, the guilt, the losses that you feel in your heart, and those truths that you will need to admit to if this experience is going to benefit you in anyway.

No-one is going to read your answers, unless you let them. In my experience some have actually shared their answers with a loved one, a confidant or even their parents. This action is revealing and poignant and can demonstrate good character, renewed confidence in themselves and their goals in life, unless of course they were just making fun of this experience with a classmate. But the vast majority have admitted that they go into this with the possible anticipation that they may be asked to reveal some hidden secret or two. And upon completion you may vow that neither these secrets nor any of the answers you give will ever be shared with anyone. Fair enough.

So, before you make the commitment to follow the structure of this text we should set some ground rules:

These are only designed to help you benefit the most from this exercise, to recommend, not force you to be exclusive in your participation. Most of you will not have taken an important exam such as this for a quite a while, therefore do not have recent experience of cramming the night before to catch-up on some last minute reviewing, as we did when we were at school or college. The journey to the Questionnaire is therefore a pre-requisite, to help turn on your adrenals, make the most of some additional, over-the-top caffeine boost, to put you in the mood for some real truth, your truth, even perhaps tearing your heart open in a way you have never succeeded at fully before, even in your darkest moments.
