Pastor Ronnie L. Williams

Pastor Ronnie L. Williams, an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is the son of Robert Jett and Willie M. Williams Jett. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, on August 4, 1951. He completed Peabody High School in 1969 and graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in business education in December 1974. He served active duty time in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Pastor Williams worked as an operations supervisor at the Exxon Plastics plant in Baton Rouge for twelve years. In 1986 the Lord called him to give birth to Camelot College, which has served as a vessel to train and place thousands of deserving young people into career jobs in the medical, computer, cosmetology, business, culinary art, and paralegal fields. He is also the pastor of Power in the Word, World Ministries, located at 2610 Wooddale Blvd. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In just seven years of ministry, Pastor Williams, who teaches and preaches the Word with clarity and conviction, has been instrumental in winning souls for Christ across the country and abroad through personal preaching engagements, television broadcasts, publications and the Internet. His core message, which he firmly believes is the key to victory now and forever, is the message of Romans 10:9: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Introduction

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye [you] have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Cor. 6:19–20).

With all of today’s wisdom on how to become fit and stay healthy, isn’t it surprising that even in America most people are still eating poorly and suffer one of the highest rates of obesity and some preventable forms of hypertension, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and stroke? The American Heart Association (AHA) revealed in its Activities for Life article that every thirty-three seconds someone in America dies from diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
