Supreme Cheese

Supreme Cheese was born into a life of chaos in the South Jersey town of Wildwood. Conceived June 10, 1982 to pro-survivalist, Linda Denise Matto, a young mother of three, determined to do anything for her kids, who's actions ultimately landed herself in jail. As a result, his early childhood consisted of a lot of riding in the back of state cars, separations, & being moved from home to home. At the age of 8 he and his second oldest brother were rescued from an abusive foster home, by his aunt, Sonia Y Jones (Matto) and late uncle in law, Tracey A Jones, whom he grew to love dearly and look upon as a father figure. Though the harsh realities of life presented itself to him at an early age, he destined himself to deserve greater, thus creating the same desire for money as his mother, believing that would free him of a broken life. His ambitions led him to excel in school and whatever he put his mind to. However, his struggles for success almost cost him to give up on life and he began drowning his troubles in alcohol and sex at the age of 16. A decision to join the Military after graduating Montclair High would change his life. Although he still found his past and troubles hard to escape, it ultimately helped him find purpose and expose his true niche for writing.

Thru it all,

I live with the pains, hells and miseries;

I’ve seen the glory of hill tops

and the humbleness of valleys.

The sadness in tears while rain drops,

although looking for gold in places like, Bally’s.

Thru it all,

I’ve choked on bitter harshness of realities;

my EGO crushed with the word Broke

and still had hope for a brighter day.

Hoping I could just cope with my life

and that my GOD will come wash the pain away.

Thru it all,

Like Job, I could watch it all fall apart like clay,

watch my family say… , Til we meet again.

And still I won’t utter or let the words come to play,

Why weren’t you here for me today?

Thru it all,

I’d see my beginning and my ends

my trials and tribulations, loads lifted within.

My frowns, turned smiles, knowing it all wasn’t in vain, that my happiness came from a stroke of a pen.
