Acknowledgements
I am totally amazed, once again, at how the God that I serve works in my poor wretched life; I want to praise Him, with all of my heart, for making this project possible. It is definitely ALL HIM!
A very special thanks to Kim Brown, for listening to the Holy Spirit, when He whispered to her that I needed to be a part of the Virtuous Women/Men of Valor Workshops. As a result of the title subject given me, Parenting 101 – Biblical Style
I had to write an entirely new presentation. The others that I have are more advanced.
Consequently, as I began to work on the presentation, God began to open up my understanding to principles relative to this topic that have always been there, but were hidden from my eyes until now.
Hence, we have this handbook. May the Lord ever keep Kim in the center of His will and continue to use her in service to Him.
As always, I must acknowledge my loving husband, John Henry Harrison, who selflessly allowed me to work unendingly as I hammered out this manuscript; Thank you honey.
Lastly, thanks to my publisher, Euniece Dunning of Articulate Communication Publications, for her advice and insight; and for getting this to press, in a timely manner. May the Lord of heaven continue to help her to produce and publish edifying material to His glory.

The Secret to Life’s Successes
If I had only known, if I had only known, when I was still a teenaged girl the things what I shall presently share with you, how very differently might my life have gone? How many mistakes might I have avoided? How many pitfalls might I have survived with greater dignity? But alas, I didn’t know! I had no mentor to properly teach me. Yes, I had a mother and a father, but their hearts were not bent toward following my heavenly father. No, they were just living life the best that they could, under their own power, using their own strength; strength that had to fail, because it was only human strength, not divine.
This cry does not have to be your cry. This lament does not have to be repeated by young men or women, who are just beginning to find their way in the world. If the reader will pay close attention to this book’s contents, he or she will live a life that is far more abundant and free. The reader will learn the true secret to all of life’s successes, not just how-to raise a God-fearing child, but also, how-to re-parent one’s self, for one of the most exhilarating lives of any one might know. True success lies in implementing and infusing the instructions found in the greatest book ever written – the Holy Bible.
The following instructions taken from the book of Proverbs 3:1-12 (CEB - Common English Bible) builds the platform, for you to safely take your stand and overcome any and all of the challenges that will come your way in life.
"My son, don’t forget my instruction. Let your heart guard my commands, because they will help you live a long time and provide you with well-being. Don’t let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Bind them on your neck; write
