Virginia Echols Harrison is a former educator; an avid keynote speaker, writer, and prison ministry lay preacher. During her 30 plus years of ministry, she has preached in over 50 different churches, across North America. She has written several books ranging from self-help, spiritual and children's. She has received numerous awards and conducted myriads of workshops in schools, churches, businesses, etc. She currently lives in Bristow, Oklahoma with her husband John H. Harrison.

My constant prayer has always been, Lord, use me in your service. In answer to that earnest prayer, God has placed in my path, many people who have been used by God, to direct me, in how I am to be used; He has also, providentially used me in ways, too numerous to count and for that, I first give thanks to God.

Next, this story could not have been told, if it were not for three wonderful children in my life; children, who by God’s grace and intervention, grew up to be awe-inspiring, brave, resourceful women, who have kept HOPE alive in my heart, during some dark and difficult days; women whom I now acknowledge as friends and colleagues. I thank each of them, so very much.
