Chapter One: Addicted to What?
Connections to people, nature, tangible possessions, the thoughts we feel other may think, and ultimately our own thoughts that we allow or disallow into our minds affect practically every aspect of our existence for the better or worse.
It is ‘to what degree’ and ‘how often’ that generally comes into play when we desire to dissect reasons behind our actions or lack thereof. This book is geared for direct, indirect, fundamental, abstract, finite, and a logical understanding of how to break the cycle of addiction (whatever form that may encompass) and yield a clear path for ‘full and permanent’ recovery thereafter.
No one person ever woke up and said, "Hey man, I’m going to start to hammer on the vodka, blow a bunch of lines up my schnoz, mainline a needle into one of my veins, watch pornography for hours on end, try to have sex as much as possible, gamble off or online, or shop until I drop or my credit card is devoid of anymore swipes.
The fact of the matter is that practically every addiction is based primarily around the same human brain functions; regardless of what you may have heard. Therefore, stems, roots, and foundations that attributed to a specific addiction are completely curable due to the basis similarities and how they relate directly to the over-user. Right now, maybe your under the influence of a chemical or perhaps not; however, it doesn’t matter; what matters is that you ingest the information within this book as clearly as possible so as to maximize your capability to relinquish this malady from your life!
What matters most is your health; both mentally and physically and destroying what is trying to destroy you or your loved one. Whatever preconceived notions you may have or reservations you still hold close inside about failing, you can set a match to that right now! My confidence in you is there 100%, and you need to mirror that same ‘collected sense of self’ with that fight ‘that resides within your heart’ to fix this problem and ultimately put it in the ‘rear view mirror’ for a much more fruitful life.
Now, those words (you may say) are much easier written/said than done. Perhaps some could look at it in that darker/glass-is-half-full mindset….but you need to understand that the majority of this battle
