Ishmael ,  Abraham's  son also had twelve sons.

God gave a specific command that twelve unleavened bread should be placed every week in the temple with frankincense, the priest were commanded to change the bread every sabbath (Leviticus 24).

Jesus Christ called twelve men to follow him a bear witness and to spread the gospel.

The new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven has twelve gates made of pearl which is manned by twelve angels, each gates has been named after one of the twelve tribes of Israel.

There are so many other places where twelve is used as measurement and to signify completion hence my 12 days of devotion for a break
