About this ebook

By achieving weight loss and maintaining my current weight, I feel that I have something valuable to share with others who are struggling with obesity just as I did.
I would like to share my weight loss journey the same way I share with family, friends, and coworkers who are amazed at my transformation and are curious to know how I did it.
The choices I made about the food I ate before making a complete change to my diet was about much more than just the food itself; It was about a mindset that question my very existence living a life without eating whatever the heck I felt like. The thought of drastically changing my diet seemed like torture to me.
The only thing I did to address my weight problem was to exercise. I never had a problem with exercise. The problem was I liked exercise as much as I liked cheese burgers and fries.
My mindset had to change when I came to a fork in the road during a doctor’s visit where I had to choose between drastically changing my diet or face worsening health conditions.

    Introduction

The choices I made about the food I ate before making a complete change to my diet was about much more than just the food itself; It was about a mindset that question my very existence living a life without eating whatever I felt like. What’s the point? I once thought. The way I saw it, living a life without totally indulging in the culinary delights was just not living.

That mindset had to change when I came to a crossroad where I had to make a choice between eating whatever I wanted to and the state of my health.

I have always find it intriguing when regular people who have been going down a bad path in life for years undergo a complete change for the better. One day something happens that change their mindset, change their way of thinking, and change their life. You probably know people just like this, I do; lifelong smoker deciding to quit smoking; heavy drinker deciding to quit drinking; bad boy ran with gangs changed his path and graduated from college; nerdy kid started taking karate and two years later he is a black belt; overweight, out of shape coworker going on a weight loss program and turning into a slim, trim, fit health enthusiast.

These are all real-life cases of people who I have known reaching a point where they decided it was time for change. Just like them, my need for change became stronger than the need to continue going down the same path.

Who am I? I am a person who set out to do something about my weight problem and succeeded.

I am not a professional dietician, a medical professional, or a physical fitness expert. I am a person who was overweight for years and then something happened one day that changed my way of thinking about diet and lifestyle.

My weight loss program worked for me, it may or may not work for everyone. Every individual need to find out what works best for them. I don’t want anyone to take the information in this
