Elby Lisbil Chapter 1 Pikes Peak. . .

Pikes Peak psychiatric hospital located in Hot Springs Arkansas, the facility a long-term care provider has a population of 136 residence, the facility is home to sixty-four male clients and seventy-two female clients the clients suffering from various degrees of mental instability all housed on the single floor structure that was formally a high-end motel with a convention floor, restaurant with seventy-five rooms a restaurant and internal offices.

Converted now serving as Pikes Peak psychiatric hospital the women are housed on one side of the facility and the men on the other the former restaurant is now the kitchen the convention floor is now used as the recreation area for the clients as it has several skylights and serves well as an activity area in which the clients can mingle amongst themselves during the recreational hours when not in group therapy or other educational therapy programs.

The total number of non-supervisory staff is thirty-six, this allots twelve staff members for each shift, during the shift as part of the staff members there are two security officers there are six personnel assigned to the kitchen area and four staff members that act therapeutic assistants primarily providing a degree of structure.
