Panty Ripper

Tia Fields rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands trying to adjust them to the brightly lit room. Her head was spinning out of control and her throat was dry as hell.

Tia… Tia, wake up baby! Are you all right? What in the world happened to you? Were you out there using them drugs, because I could get you some help. Janice son Tommy got hooked on them prescription pills and…

Mom! Mom, please… You know good and well I do not use no drugs!

Then why are you in a hospital room looking like hell? Look at your hair, baby, Tia’s annoying, over exaggerated mother said.

I already told you ten times. I passed out.

Miss Fields, Tia needs to rest until the doctor clears her to go home. I’ll stay here with her until she is released and then I’ll drive her back to her apartment, Tia’s best friend Millie interjected. She knew her best friend did not want to deal with her mother as she laid there in a hospital bed. Plus, Millie had a few questions of her own that she wanted to ask since Nosey was her middle name.

Okay child, cause the good Lord knows that I could not live in peace with any child of mine smoking on no dope!

Miss Fields kissed her daughter Tia on the forehead and then left the room rambling to the Good Lord. Tia roller her eyes up in her head and then gave her friend a weak smile.

Wassup girl, Tia asked Millie while raking her fingers through her sweated out, mangled hair.

Don’t you wassup me! What the hell happened to you last night? You got some serious explaining to do Missy, Millie said.

Trust me, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you. So please just leave it alone. I passed out while I was out on a date with Omar. It must have been something I ate.

Or swallowed, Millie teased with raised eyebrows.

Aren’t you confusing me with someone name Mille Deep Throat Jackson, Tia joked.
