About this ebook
Some people say that life is short, but it is the longest thing that you will ever do. It’s the people we meet along the journey that make that time fly. You will never know the impact someone will have on you before you meet them, and you rarely tell them how you feel about them even after they are gone. If there are words you have never said to that special someone, or special words that you never heard from that someone, I hope that you will find them here…

Prologue
Birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. Simple numerical sequences that once marked celebratory occasions for those we loved dissolve into yearly memorials for relationships we left behind. These dates trigger complex memories of friends, lovers, sisters, brothers, fathers or mothers we no longer talk to or see. As you recall the conversations you had while those memories were being made, you remember the words left unsaid.
These are those words. The words you wish you heard. The words that aren’t told. The words you fought to suppress, that have become too much of a burden to hold. Like postcards to unrequited lovers or forgotten friends you only see in your mind. These are the letters capturing the feelings and emotions you know have been left behind...
