My wife and I moved to Oregon a few years ago and I began writing poems once again. My latest book, Reflections of Life, is comprised of love poems to my wife, Martha and many other types of poetry. Barrett was born in Pueblo, Colorado, grew up in California, attended UCLA, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam era. Barrett lost his first wife to cancer. He is now married, retired and residing in Cascade Locks, Oregon in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. He enjoys painting and photography.
