I don't understand chicks at all, Kyle said. He took another drink of his beer, and then indicated to the bartender he wanted another. They constantly whine about what jerks men are, when women have all the power.

Say what? Jessica said. Women have no power. It's a man's world.

Kyle wanted Jessica so badly it hurt. And she knew it, too. Unfortunately, after months of trying he'd finally accepted the fact it wasn't going to happen. Shame, because she was a gorgeous blue-eyed blonde. Just his type.

Knowing he didn't have a shot at her, Kyle could be blunt and honest.

Bullshit, he said. He drained his beer just in time to receive the next. Guys can't just walk into a club and say, 'I want you, bitch. Fuck me.' No, we have to convince you to sleep with us. You get to choose. You have the power.

Oh please, Jessica said, rolling her eyes. You are such a moron. There's so much more to it than sex.

In your heads, he said. Chicks have it made. First of all, you're all gorgeous. Men lust after you, begging to be with you. Second, in a club guys will buy you anything you want. Food. Drinks.

To get us drunk so we'll sleep with them, Jessica said.

He cut a you're crazy look at the beautiful blonde. A redhead in a blue dress caught his eye. She was at the end of the bar and it looked like she was watching and listening to them. Well, that was another beautiful chick he didn't have a chance with.
