The premise of the Zone Diet® is a balance of carbohydrates, proteins and fats that promotes both weight loss and healthy eating habits. There are many benefits to the Zone Diet® besides just losing weight and eating a well-balanced diet. Some of them are:
More energy: By balancing the intake of proteins, carbs and fats, our bodies are able to use stored fat for energy versus the new intake, which is how we gain weight.
