Lying in bed on Friday morning, I thought back over the past few days. Meeting two new people - Jayah and Grady - had been a pleasure. Jayah intrigued me, while Grady provided the male companionship I've been missing since Paul. As a single woman with no commitments, I can date whoever I please. I'm ready for this weekend to see where things go. After my thoughts cleared my mind, I got up and took a refreshing shower. It was much needed. Though I felt pretty good afterward, my mind was still craving some real intimacy. I tried to clear my mind before giving in to another solo session. It's been a while, but I'll find it again in time.
I realized that I had never finished the letter to my father last night. Maybe I could take it to work and finish it at the command center during lunch break. I also needed to tell him about Vickie. Yes, that would work perfectly. But first, I had to head out before being late for work.
Before leaving, I grabbed a granola bar for breakfast. Normally I would hit up the deli at work. They had delicious options like bacon burritos and smoothies. Decisions, decisions...

It was wonderful catching up with my little brother last night. He's always known to be a bit wild, but I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. I should bring him out here to Arizona so he can experience the beauty and fun that I have been enjoying.
I had a great outing with Assan and I'm grateful it's finally Friday. Hopefully today will fly by quickly. It's unfortunate that we won't be able to grab lunch together though;
