Travis, an Author, Filmmaker, and former Paratrooper was raised in Colorado. As an adventurous boy, Travis joined the Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scouts. It was at this age and during this time that he realized he had a talent for writing. As the years went by, he continued to write and grow his adventurous nature by traveling across Europe. While serving in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper, Travis was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan from 2001 to 2005. Upon his return, he got into the art of filmmaking. Travis used this art form to create a documentary while volunteering in Africa in 2016. Aside from filmmaking, Travis is an Author. He has written numerous short books, screenplays, and he is also currently writing up another novel.

You’re busy. I’m busy. Everyone’s busy. Yet despite this bustle, we regularly don’t feel especially productive from day to day. Entire weeks can flash by in a blur of meaningless emails, conferences, and admin tasks while the massive stuff is going untended. If we want to take back control of our workday schedules and priorities, the simplest way to do it is by way of relentlessly wondering how we’re spending our time. However, what questions ought we to ask? I reached out to a handful of normal 99U individuals and the 99U convention audio system to get their insights on daily energy and assignment control.
