About this ebook
With just 10 basic business concepts, techniques and systems - which you apply to your own situation - you build a solid business from the ground up, make money as you go, and with smart management systems grow your business the right way. It's a proven successful formula; fun, simple and easy to follow
Since its launch in 2000, with 15000 copies sold and now in its 6th imprint, revised and available again as an e-book too - Entrepreneurship made Easy continues to guide and motivate people, of any age and circumstance, to create successful business initiatives with little or no capital, and DO business, in the spirit of entrepreneurship and with confidence, focus and direction.
Just some of those successful businesses created range from a school leaver starting a soccer coaching clinic and another selling beach chairs and umbrellas. And those facing retrenchment changed adversity into opportunity - with businesses ranging from a tour operation, a coffee shop, a boat charter in the Bahamas, Rent-a-Granny, to an Image Coach: All begun with little or no capital but with the confidence, business understanding and resilience to step out there and DO IT, with an entrepreneurial mind-set.
And, if you've already started your business but need some fresh ideas and some lateral thinking, this is the book for you too.
And a review from Marina Prinsloo - The Image Consultants International Academy "Entrepreneurship made Easy is a wonderful training support tool. I used your book to start my own business and wish to include it in our training, as it was so worth-while in my business growth"
Written for budding entrepreneurs by Business Coach/Facilitator and Social Entrepreneur, Bev Moodie, who started her own business with no money, a huge dollop of ignorance and enthusiasm. Her business skills and acumen have been hard earned over the last 30 years doing business, whilst working in diverse environments, guided countless people, for all walks of life, to move from nothing to something, address their fears and tap into existing potential and resources to earn money and become self-reliant. And it worked..

I am an entrepreneur, adventurous in nature and have always had an interest in personal growth. I love the spirit of entrepreneurship - simplicity, passion, innovation and creativity. I have been in my own business(s) for 30 years. My first venture in self-employment was when I set up a secretarial service from home and later, with my sister, founded the Home Executive Womens Organisation (empowering women-at-home) and then Hews - Home Business Organization, training and supporting new entrepreneurs whilst spear-heading home business development in South Africa. The main issues we addressed at the time was helping those - with little confidence, skills, money and capacity - to earn money with what they had. Our partnership dissolved and I was called to help those (illiterate - middle management) taking retrenchment packages from companies to start their own businesses without losing their package. My writing career started then as I could not find any program to accommodate the needs of my target market (diverse levels of confidence, education and skills) and so developed my own methodology and support materials. Following again the needs in the market-place, I was later called to help the unemployed and community project personnel to improve their business, financial and management skills and capacity. This step took me into the world of Social Entrepreneurship when I was elected as an Ashoka Fellow. What an honor to be recognized for the impact of my work in society, which offered exposure to the international world and an opportunity to work in Mexico and then with the disabled through The Leonard Cheshire Foundation (UK). And yes, I have had an adventurous diverse career. as I followed the dots of each stage of my career path which fuelled my passion, love of people and creativity, whilst also developing my skills as an entrepreneur, writer and author. I have recently published my first children's book (I so proud) and continue to mentor emerging entrepreneurs and writers. I live in the foothills of an indigenous forest in Knysna, South Africa on a small sustainable farm and am deeply connected to nature and the organic way.
