Nathan stood outside of his girlfriend's house, silently hoping that things wouldn't be too awkward. His relationship with Britney had been rocky for the last month, ever since she had found out that he had drunkenly hooked up with another girl at a party. It had been an accident, though an enjoyable one he thought with a grin. He was pretty certain that Britney wouldn't dump him any time soon, though. No matter how mad she got at him, she kept coming back for one thing in particular. But, just to get on her good side, he had been agreeable to some of her recent requests. One of them was to join Britney and her mom for a Thanksgiving dinner the weekend before Thanksgiving.
