Jake glanced at his roommate and then at the time on his laptop screen. We've still got twenty minutes, and it'll only take us ten to get there.

Bryan gave him a glare. But you aren't even in costume yet.

Yes I am. I just have to throw on the suspenders and the coat. There was a silence as Bryan stared at his roommate, which was unsettling because he was wearing zombie make-up. Finally, Jake let out a sigh. "I'm Captain Mal Reynolds, from Firefly. You know, that show I keep trying to get you to watch? It's really not that complicated of a costume."
