PROLOGUE

Getting up early up in the morning has never been my strong suite, but the alarm on my phone kept going and with all my unwillingness to wake up, I drag my ass out of the bed. I walk up to my drawing room and draw my curtains open of the French window to let the morning light in. Wow! The morning light feels good, and the view is to die for from the 35th floor of my apartment. I can see the whole of New York from my window, the tall skyscrapers, the blue sky and the birds flying away to where ever they are going. I soak up the ambience and looked at the clock; shit! It’s already 5:45 a.m. and I have a flight to catch at 8 o clock, I should hurry up. I got fresh and put on my blue denim jeans and white shirt, paired it up with my Ralph Lauren shiny black shoes. No time for breakfast if I have to catch the flight, I was already late. I took my back pack, locked the apartment and took the elevator to lobby. In the lobby, Mr. Jones greeted me good morning and asked if he could help me with the back pack. Mr. Jones is the security head cum reception manager of the apartment. I just informed him to get me a taxi a.s.a.p. to the JFK international Airport, which he got me in a jiffy. I boarded it and instructed the taxi driver to rush to the Airport, I even told him I would pay him extra if he can reach within 15 minutes, which was very unlikely. He drove like crazy, and I enjoyed the ride as I am myself a crazy man behind the wheel. But I reached the JFK Airport, I paid the driver and ran to the security check, I hope I made it.
