About this ebook
A true story largely told through poetry of heartbreak and then finding both the love of a good man and a deeper understanding of the love and mercy of God.
DANCE WITH ME
When it comes to us
I don’t need to dance
“the waltz” or “tango” with you
and that’s because our own unique dance
will never leave this girl feeling blue!
“The dance of love” is the way
lovers talk without words
to make their desires known;
it’s beautiful, gliding slow and steady
and through it their feelings are shown.
So you don’t have to dance “the hustle” or “the jerk”
to keep my head turned or my flame burning;
all I need is our own special way to feel our love’s flow
and to always know your heart’s yearning.

I first felt drawn to write children's books at the age of seventeen. I loved English class all through school, even the homework, and enjoyed getting good grades. In high school; I especially enjoyed the assignment: "Make your own picture book."Later, as a young mother of three, my own children became a source of great inspiration. Over the years, after writes, rewrites, multiple polishings, and a tall stack of rejection letters, with my children fully grown; I'm finally able to refer to myself as an author!I have quite an extensive portfolio at this point which includes: over twenty children's stories, spanning all the age ranges, romantic and Christian poetry, short stories for ages sixteen to adult and non-fiction articles, mainly Christian.

A Christian Romance - Linzy Bruno
FOREWORD
This book is a combination of love poems I have written for my boyfriend Mark and Christian poems I had written before and since starting this new romance.
For the sake of my readers, a bit of background is important. Just before this story
began; I was a devoted wife for over twenty years, with three grown children. As far as I knew, life wasn‘t bad, I guess I had my head in the sand, but here’s where seeing things through my eyes is crucial to this story.
One serious problem I had in my marriage was my husband was verbally/mentally abusive and controlling. I was so used to it; I hardly thought about it. The other problem was that he was a man whose normal practice was to live in nearly complete defiance of a serious medical condition, talk about denial! This man, whom I believed in and thought was my soul mate, was using his out of control diabetes to mask a secret life of drug abuse! As it turns out, when someone is in withdrawal from heroin; his ill state can appear similar to that of someone who grossly neglects their body’s dietary needs when suffering from diabetes, mostly by ingesting mega amounts of sugars and carbs. This tricky self-employed salesman, used and hid behind his poor diet, lying to me during our entire married life, until it spiraled out of control leading to the eventual loss of everything we had. It was upon his arrest that the truth finally came out.
Something always did nag at me about him, now I knew what it was. I had been praying for my husband Mike throughout our marriage and had increased my prayers greatly through various hard times. I have often asked myself: ‘Why didn’t my prayers work while I was a devoted wife all those years and now I’m so blessed in a new relationship that technically began out of adultery!’ First of all, my husband was very proud; always refusing God’s help. Also, I believe it’s because although God wanted us together for a time,
