We have 3 children ages 17, 13 and 4. With my wife’s support and encouragement I was able to return to school at the age of 32, and while cleaning office buildings at night I attended college during the day in order to earn my Associates of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences specializing in Children and Family Services, as well as a Master of Science in Psychology specializing in Behavioral Studies. I currently work as a Behavioral Therapist with school aged children.I enjoy writing, watching movies/TV shows with my kids, as well as playing games with my family, (both video as well as board games). My family, and I enjoy vacation trips to the Caribbean which is my wife’s birthplace, (Fajardo, Puerto Rico). Our ultimate trip would be to travel the United States in our very own custom RV. My favorite TV shows are Supernatural, Smallville, Burn Notice, The Closer, Justified, Warehouse 13, Psych, and Eureka just to name a few. When watching with the kids, we are into Disney’s Phineas and Ferb, The Avengers, Good Luck Charlie and The Suite Life on Deck. I have a wide assortment of musical tastes ranging from my love for original hip hop music, (Public Enemy, Run DMC, and Eric B. & Rakim), to also Gospel, which I happen to love, as well as contemporary Christian music. I furthermore confess that I enjoy listening to country music, as well as old school R & B, (Otis Redding, Barry White, etc).I love both watching and creating anime with my son, (an aspiring artist), and I love Sci Fi/Fantasy movies, the L.O.T.R. series and Harry Potter are among my favorites. I unquestionably, prefer Underworld vampires & werewolves over Twilight’s cute & cuddly version. I enjoy films based on true stories, and I enjoy early African American literature’s “slave narratives” authors such as Frederick Douglass and W.E.B. Du Bois. The poem “We Wear the Mask” by Paul Laurence Dunbar and the speech “Ain’t I a Woman” by Sojourner Truth are among my favorites.I'm always available via email at author.eda@gmail.comview less
