    Prologue

Out there somewhere is a woman who, at this very moment, is ready to throw in the towel. She is prepared to give up on life itself. Tired and grieved, the thought of ending it all is hovering in her mind and her heart, but that will not be how her story ends because there is help in the pages of this little book. How do I know? Because I wrote these words just for her, I wrote these words for you.

You see, I know her because I was right there, standing on the edge of the same cliff, not caring whether I lived or died because I just could not live one more day in misery. I thought no one knew and no one cared, but God knew, and He cared, and he said Enough! He sent a word, just like the one I am speaking to you right now, and it changed my life.

In the Bible, God said, life and death are in the power of the tongue. Words have power, so today, I send this word into the hearts and minds of every woman that needs it! To you, I say, as God so graciously told me, Enough! Be released, be renewed, and be refreshed. God has a plan and purpose for your life.

These Last Tears: From Pain to Purpose is filled with the encouragement and affirmation that comes with living a God-directed life. It is light, it is life, and it is often the painful truth. Part memoir, the story addresses the challenges we all face when trying to become
