Ann was finally getting married. And as if that wasn’t the end of it, the man who was supposed to marry her was an honest and caring man. She felt lucky but he felt luckier. It was what she had prayed for since she cleared out of college and got a job. Yes it might have taken her a couple of years to get there but she finally got a man, someone she could call her own and someone she could claim to love. To her friends, that was really strange and new.

Ann’s life hadn’t been a roller costar. She hadn’t had an easy life and her friends could attest to that. She had had a very dark life; well to the common man it was a dark life. To her it was a dark life and to her parents, she was sure it would be a wretched life. But it had to be lived despite everything and she had been a little blind but it was life. It was dynamic and full of surprises, like the one surprise she was pulling, telling everyone that she was getting married. Even her best friend was finding it hard to believe.

Back when she had joined college, Ann had been a very naïve girl. She didn’t know anything and the only thing on her mind were books. She was bright and clever and she could easily pass, her family was full of scholars so it was a gene problem. They had prepared her for college but hadn’t prepared her for life. So when she joined college, she had met people who knew how to party and she had suddenly fallen into their group. It wasn’t hard to get in with them, everybody liked Ann the moment they saw her.

So the party life started. She would party all day and still pass her examinations, a true genius. Her nonexistent sex life came to life and she tried having sex in every imaginable scenario. Her creativity brought all the fun; she was bright and believed that people should enjoy life before it was taken away from them. Her friends cheered her on. Once she was in, she became their teacher and their leader of sorts. She didn’t keep any relationships it started and ended in a bed or a bathroom or a bus or wherever she wanted.

However much she was sexually active, Ann never made the mistake of letting it go out to the world. No one really knew what was happening to her. She would party hard, get drunk and get laid. The story however was that Ann got drunk and partied hard, no one ever knew that she laid a guy or had a guy in a car in the parking lot. It was a secret she only knew. At times her best friend suspected but that was what she only got to have, some suspicions that her best friend was a wild animal.
