About this ebook

Kaitlynn hears through the grapevine that her mom is throwing a huge bash to introduce her latest boy toy to all of her upper crust friends. She wants to help him gain connections for his renovation company, gaining herself big brownie points.
But who is this new guy? Why hasn’t Kaitlynn been properly introduced? And more important...where is her party invite?
Kaitlynn is feeling more than a bit slighted and insanely curious, so she decides to crash the party. The one thing she didn’t count on is a major attraction to the guest of honor.
Fireworks explode and sneaking around just makes it hotter when she sets out to show her conniving mother that you can’t buy love.

I am an author of mostly erotica/erotic romance with a bit of scifi and sweet romance thrown in. I have visited or lived in each of the 48 continental United States at one time or another. Hawaii and Alaska are on my list of places to see. I've been to Canada and one day plan to tour Mexico as well. I've worked as a taxi driver, an exotic dancer/waitress, a dump truck driver, a storage facility manager and a traveling carnival worker. I love writing stories more than anything (other than my fabulous grandson (: ) and hope to one day support myself with my stories. I live in Louisiana with my boyfriend, two grown kids, an awesome grandson, and several spoiled cats. I truly believe you can do anything you set your mind to.

My mother’s party was tonight. She was inviting all of her friends and family to meet her latest boyfriend. Well, everyone except me. I found out about it by accident, when I ran into my Aunt Lucille at Macy’s. She was trying on dresses more suited for girls my age, and she never wears dresses anyway, so I was automatically suspicious. Why would my aunt, an ancient forty years old, suddenly want to look good? The answer? Marcus, my mom’s twenty-nine year old boy toy. Apparently he looked good enough to spur her into thoughts of lassoing her own young stud. And I’m thinking, how in the hell did my mom score a twenty-nine year old? He must be a real dud...but, to make sure, I’ll be at that party, invite or no invite, and I’ll be wearing a new, sexy little number, courtesy of Dad and the Visa card he kept paid up just for me. You gotta love divorce guilt...the gift that keeps on giving.

Hi, Mom, I said, grabbing a frosty soda and some chips on the way to my room, You’re looking good. Did you slip off to the salon without me, again? You know I need to get a trim and a manicure.

It was a spur of the moment thing. I’m getting together with some of the girls, and I wanted to look my best. I’ll schedule you an appointment for next week, okay?

Getting together with the girls, huh? Sure. Fine. Heading up to my room, if you need me.

I thought you were spending the night at Carrie’s, She sputtered, dropping the plate of deviled eggs she was unwrapping to the counter, where it wobbled, half off and half on, until she pushed it to safety. For a second, I thought there was going to be a big mess to distract her. Damn!

She canceled, I shrugged, widening my eyes and trying for a look of innocence, Her ex asked her out, at the last minute. Who am I to stand in the way of true love?

So you’re - you’re staying home? On a Friday night? I could see a satisfying ‘v’ etched deeply between her brows. Yup, she was worried. Clearing her throat, she offered, with obvious reluctance, You can borrow the Porsche, if you want.

You never let me drive the Porsche, I gasped, shocked. She must really want me out of the house! All the more reason to stay in, "But that’s okay. I’m feeling a
