My mother’s party was tonight. She was inviting all of her friends and family to meet her latest boyfriend. Well, everyone except me. I found out about it by accident, when I ran into my Aunt Lucille at Macy’s. She was trying on dresses more suited for girls my age, and she never wears dresses anyway, so I was automatically suspicious.
