Success inside you - A. Joy Lee

    About the Author

Let me tell you a little about myself. I want to briefly share with you my past. It is of utmost importance for me that you understand I am just an ordinary person like you. I have not inherited a vast fortune from wealthy relatives. I have not won the American lottery of tens of millions of dollars. I have no special phenomenal abilities which would help me be happy and successful.

I am excited to share my past and my present with you, and what is most important - the simplest algorithm which helped me to achieve such great results. I am just like you and this means that any of us is able to alter his or her life for the better.

These changes will happen in the nearest future with anyone who will read my book to the end and perform tasks described here. All you need to do is to read this book and put the knowledge into practice.

I was born in a poor country in Europe. My parents were ordinary workers and as many at those days they struggled from paycheck to paycheck. Four of us were thwacked in one room in the outhouse. But my parents did their best to give me the better life they never had. Like all children I dreamed about a beautiful life. But the reality was cruel and dealt a blow at all my hopes as soon as they came to my head. Instead of vacations at the ocean I went to the village to spend summer with my grandmother; instead of a nice car every day I went by a crowded bus; instead of trendy jeans I had to wear pants sewed by my mother and dresses knitted by my grandmother; and instead of imported sweets, I had to be happy with home-made sugar candies. Most likely many of you will smile saying that described times are long gone, and nowadays everything is in abundance. But the question is not if you can find anything in the stores, but if you can afford to buy what you want.

But despite our family was just able to scrape by, I continued to dream. I dreamed about living abroad in a warm climate country by the ocean. I pictured in my head how I was approaching my luxury bay-front villa by my fancy car. I was so much deep in my fantasy that I smelt the ocean, heard the wash of the waves and sensed the warmth of the sun. And believe me, in those moments of sweet dreams it was very sad to go back to reality, to see snow banks outside and hear the howl of the wind again.

Reading this you probably do not understand why there is all this romance and dreams in a step by step guide How to become rich and successful. I will not go into details now, but I promise to return to this talk.

My awkward age and time in high school were a great trial to my parents. My mom was frequently summoned to the principal's office because I shirked school. Discussing my behavior in the teacher’s room, the teachers seemed to divide into two camps. Some said: She won’t fail; she will go a good way. Others shrugging their shoulders assured she is not worth anything. But neither those nor the others cease to believe in me, continuing to give me lessons, write notes in my diary, try to teach me how to live. Great thanks to the first. Their faith in me and advice made a good deal for me. And thanks to the second for expending effort of trying, teaching and tutoring. Indeed special thanks to my mother for her patience, for not preventing me from living my life and learning from my mistakes. I am grateful to her for believing in my ideas and dreams and for not discouraging my attempts to try to do something
