Years in Italy doing graduate work turned her interest into a hobby by giving her the chance to explore the regional dishes of several countries. In 1999 she made her hobby her profession by joining the U.S.P.C.A.and opening Suddenly Supper Personal Chef Service. Through her clients she has come to admire people, especially working parents,who want to maintain traditional family homes with their busy lives. Her books are aimed at helping to relieve the stress of coping with tight schedules and rising food costs. She believes in organized planning and informed shopping to control expenses.
