When first considering a book on weight loss, I soon realised that thousands of books were already available, but I couldn’t find any addressing losing a lot of weight for a second time and keeping it off. The second time around is just as much a journey as the first time, but there are advantages and disadvantages that aren’t relevant to the first time dieter.
I hope my experience and information will help you through the challenges you’ve decided to conquer. There are far more highs than lows, because each achievement should be acknowledged and celebrated.
The format of this book is laid out more as a step by step guide, because it is easier to take the challenge one step at a time and not try to address many issues together.
The early days can seem difficult and insurmountable, but this quickly passes as your confidence grows. Making life changes can be daunting, but if managed correctly, it can also be very empowering.
I will state that this book is about the approach to weight loss rather than a diet sheet and instructions. Many different diets work for different people. The only common bond we all share is our determination and mindset.
